A little bit about Anna
Anna graduated from AUT, New Zealand, in December 2018 with a Bachelor of Communication Design, majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Information Design. She has always been fascinated by anything art or design related. She loves illustration, video, typography and publication design.
Alongside being creative, She finds the learning opportunities that come with design, and the ability it has to communicate complex issues, very rewarding. Since finding her love for design Anna has always searched for ways to use her creativity as a tool for social change. This drive lead her to work on projects such as 'Art for Education'; a self-initiated art show bringing together 20+ NZ artists to raise money and awareness for the Malala Fund, volunteering as a designer for numerous NGOs in Mexico and New Zealand, or founding Faxed, a creatively focused campaign shedding light on the crisis in Yemen.
Anna enjoys the diverse range of people that she meets through this line of work and she is always looking to learn from those around her. The insights she has gained from these interactions and experiences, along with her inherent curiosity, feed into her design practice and push her to create things that are not only pleasing to the eye, but get people thinking as well.
